Paul J. Van der Grift
Paul is retired from acting and documentary filmmaking. He has a Bachelors degree in International Affairs, with a minor in Social Work from Florida State University. He graduated in 1990, with honors, from New York University’s Film Intensive Program. Since then he has produced, directed, and written numerous projects, working with such historical figures as Mohammad Ali, Mikhail Gorbachev, Desmond Tutu, Dr. Maya Angelou, Althea Gibson and Billie Jean King. His social work experience includes work in eldercare, grief, and crisis counseling.
Paul is certified by the Enneagram Worldwide, Professional Training Program as an Enneagram Teacher in the Narrative Tradition. He completed his training in May of 2013.
Since he was introduced to the Enneagram five years ago, he has used it as a teaching and learning tool, working with parents, college students, university administrators, athletic coaches and teams, couples, musicians, church staff, philanthropists, and at-risk teens.
In 2013, with three wonderful colleagues, he co-founded, Spiritually Aware Leadership Training, Inc. (S.A.L.T., Inc.), a not-for-profit corporation that that uses the Enneagram as a tool to provide faith-based professional development to individuals and groups.
He lives with his wife Joan in Palm Beach, Florida. They have three adult children.
